🍝 Pasta
Choose your favorite spaghetti or pasta. For this plate, we went with traditional spaghetti. Bring a wide pan of water about halfway to a boil. Add your desired amount of pasta and cook until al dente.
🍄 Mushroom Ground Meatballs
Preheat a large frying pan to medium-high heat (350–375 degrees) with a tablespoon of oil. After slightly thawing 4 oz of Mushroom Ground, mold into meatballs of your desired size. Cook in the pan for about 5–10 minutes until nicely charred — firm to the touch and not wet, but not burnt. Depending on size, you can make 3–4 meatballs with 4 ounces of Mushroom Ground.
🍅 Marinara Sauce
Grab a jar of your favorite marinara sauce. If you’d like, add extra spices such as onion powder, black pepper, or oregano while the sauce simmers for about 5 minutes. These seasonings are optional since Mushroom Ground is already pre-seasoned. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and let them simmer together for another 1–2 minutes to blend flavors.
✨ Completed Dish
Plate your spaghetti, top with the marinara and Mushroom Ground meatballs, and finish with cheese of your choice. This version used a plant-forward cheese alternative. Round it out with garlic bread or your favorite sides, and enjoy a mushroom-first twist on a classic comfort meal!
