Choose your favorite spaghetti or pasta. For this plate, we choose traditional spaghetti. We boiled a wide pan of water about halfway full. We put the desired about of spaghetti into the pan and boiled until it was al dente.
Cruz Chop Meatballs
Preheat a large frying pan to medium-high heat, 350 - 375 degrees, with a tablespoon of oil. After slightly thawing 4 Oz Cruz Chop, mold to desired meatball size. Cook in the pan for about 5 to 10 minutes until charred, i.e., not wet visually but not burnt. Depending on the size, you can make 3 to 4 meatballs with 4 ounces of Cruz Chop.
Grab a jar of your favorite marinara sauce. If you choose to add spices like onion powder, black pepper, and more oregano, add while the sauce is simmering in the pan for about 5 minutes. These seasonings are optional and not needed because Cruz Chop is pre-seasoned. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Plate your dish with the spaghetti, put the sauce on top, and add some cheese of your choice. This plate is using vegan cheese. Feel free to add garlic bread or other sides and enjoy!
